MOMDOC doesn't have any information on the website to inform clients they will be billed $50 extra for evening appointments that they offer. When a patient is seen by a doctor for birth control or birth control refills, they consider this a normal office visit instead of a preventive appointment. The office in Tempe said birth control is not considered preventive. According to the Healthy American Act, the federal regulation mandate contraceptives to be added to the list of preventative services covered by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care ACT that is now part of women's preventive health service guidelines by the health resource and services administration for the affordable care act (ACA). this is being violated by falsely encoding for billing.
