We ordered from china north for the first time and will never go back. We ordered chicken chow mein, and when the order arrived, all we received is a bunch of overcooked vegtables and a few small pieces of chicken soaked in a pool of cold, gravy, white sauce. When we called to let them know we got the wrong order, they said that it is just how it comes. The noodles were those crispy fried appetizer croutons you receive with soup or before your meal comes as a snack in most chinese restaurants. We asked politely if we could exchange it for something that came with actual rice noodles and they said that at first the kitchen was closed even though it was 8:30, and they are suppose to close at 9 according to the menu. When we asked to speak with the manager, he said we could have something else, but we would still have to pay for both. So, we were stuck with what they gave us and would not even give a refund if we brought it all back untouched. After forcing ourselves to eat the expensive, luke warm chicken with gravy and vegtables, we ended up feeling pretty sick several hours later. I just feel so ripped off, and they acted like they couldn't care less if we ever came back. The least they could have done is provided some rice to soak up all the gravy. My stomach hurts again just thinking about it!
