the worst customer service

My husband has been a loyal client of theirs for 9yrs. We married 3 yrs ago and though I have tried to talk him into going w/ the accountant I have used for years, he wouldn't budge. I didn't understand why since he often complained that they have to keep filing extentions for him and they never return his calls. This year was the last straw. When I called in June to find out the status on our taxes that we dropped off in Feb, (they kept putting my husband off, so I finally called). I could not get an answer as well. We were promised phone calls back that we never received. My husband finally told them that we are going to pick up our papers and go elsewhere. The lady who answered the phone asked when we want to pick them up. I find this very strange coming from a company who tries working very hard on customer service. We have never been ones to argue w/ who we hire. We just want someone who communicates with us and is honest. There was no apology for any inconvenience or they are sorry to lose such a long time client. Nothing. We have no idea why they so easily gave us up. They never communicated if there was a problem. I have no idea.
