My fiance and I have been here for nearly two years and we love it here! The staff are friendly, helpful and caring and treat us not just like valued guests but almost like family. They've worked with us (as much as they can within the rules and regulations of their jobs) during tough times and treat us like the people we are instead of walking wallets. Fellow long-term residents look out for each other and the property which makes for a comfortable, tight-knit community. Security are friendly but firm and as a while the staff help keep this place feeling safe without feeling tyrannical. Despite how run down this part of town has become, this place generally feels safe and quiet and they keep it as clean and maintained as they can. For long-term stays there's weekly housekeeping, monthly pest control, emergency maintenance, 24 hour laundry (it has posted hours but as long as you're quiet and respectful, the staff understand that everyone's schedule is different and some of us just don't have time time during posted hours), snacks available for purchase at the office and even a limited price matching program with a free-night reward every 10th price-matched stay. Bugs really aren't a problem (we see one here or there but given the area it's reasonably infrequent) so long as you keep your room fairly clean and maintained and manage your trash on a regular basis. My fiance and I have lived here for a little over a year and a half now. The staff have been incredibly accommodating, friendly and just outright amazing. We feel very welcome and loved here and it's come to feel like home. The prices are usually the best (for long term especially) in the area. The neighborhood is a bit rough and there are a lot of homeless and addicts but the staff/security do a great job at trying to keep unsafe and illicit activity/individuals off property while also not discriminating against homeless that need a place to stay. There's weekly housekeeping for monthly residents, monthly pest control, maintenance (for the very few times we've actually needed them) have been punctual, friendly and efficient. Before we stayed here we were very worried we'd find a lot of bugs, since a lot of other reviews claimed rooms were disgusting and infested but in our personal experience it hasn't been too bad. We see maybe 1--2 roaches a month at most and that's only usually been when we've let our room get a little messy and neglected the trash and dishes. All in all it's been wonderful here and the staff have been the true highlight of it all. My only complaint really is that the ice machine in the laundry room seems to have been out of order our entire stay to the point that we just bought some ice trays and now make our own.
