"I can't reach it."
Twenty minutes later, I'm there, turning off the water. We spread towels across the wet zone, I connect a drain hose running to the street and we head to sleep.
It is 1 p.m. January 25, 2021. Looking for plumbers I found woman-owned Robun's on Yelp*. 54 ratings, 4.5 stars, one mile away. I phone them at 8 am. Someone will be to the house by 10.
22 year old water heater with code upgrades done by 12:15.
