The gas technician did not know how to open a door with a key I left under a rug. It was a new key so you have to wiggle it a bit but it works. That is scary to have a gas expert not know how to open a door. WOW now I have to wait 5 days more to get my gas turned on a by a so called expert. I am not making this up.

Provided by YP.comConcur with the two reviews below. The technicians, customer service people and managers are rude and horrible. We were given the window of one day. The house is our rental so we don't live there. We got the call that the technicians are on their way and when my wife said it would take 10 mins they said they wouldn't wait and that we would have to reschedule in a rude and condescending tone. They care nothing about their clients. This is what happens when you have a monopoly.

I've been on the phone with them 4 times today, the last time I asked to speak to a supervisor & she was just as cold & careless as their crappy customer service staff! I let them know I have two young children & for the last over a week now we've had to endure cold showers & we've lived on Ramon. Southwest Gas didn't care. I did everything they've requested & still they continue to put me on the back burner like I don't matter! I'm shopping for another gas company now.

Provided by YP.comSouthwest is the absolute worst!!!! I've been waiting all day for a tech to some out and the freaking customer services lines suck!!!!! I talked with 3 different people none of them were helpful or nice..... Nor compassionate!!!! You have your job because of people like me and I deserve more respect then what you were giving even the supervisor Jennifer was a RUDE lady and she liked to talk down to me!!!!!!!! You know how I felt?!? UGH!!!!! I'm frustrated and very UPSET right now!!!!!!! Thanks for NOTHING!!! They dont deserve one STAR!!!!!!!

this is the worst utility company i have ever dealt with, extremely unwilling to help and totally rude. I can't believe how difficult they make eveything.

I was very surprised at some of the services Southwest Gas provides for free. When we had our pool put in it seemed like there was an extra charge for everything, "hard dig", etc. So when we were told we needed a larger meter to accomodate the pool heater I assumed this was another thing I would be paying for. But Southwest Gas came out to my home and replaced my meter with a larger model as no cost to me. No charge the service call, the equipment, nothing. How often to you expect to pay for something and get it for free?
