Pickens High School is a public, coeducational secondary school offering education to students in grades nine through 12. It provides various academic programs, including advanced placement, honors courses, afterschool tutoring, dual credit, career and technology program and teacher cadet program. The advanced placement courses offered by the school include various subjects, such as calculus, chemistry, biology, art, European history and physics. It additionally offers honors programs in subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages and art. The school also offers the Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Program and various extracurricular activities, such as drama, band, jazz, marching, concert, color guard, chorus, orchestra and chamber. The school s athletic program includes baseball, volleyball, football, soccer and basketball. It also offers various clubs and organizations, such as mu alpha theta, math club, Lakes and Mountains and the Spanish Honor Society. The school is located in Pickens, S.C.
