I won't be eating here EVER again....I made the mistake of sitting at a table that faced the kitchen/prep area. I watched one of the female employees empty the chips into a warming drawer from a trash can. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since the resturant had an "A" rating from the Health Dept., and decided that the trash can had probably been approved for storage of the chips and was acceptable. Well, a few minutes later this same female employee took a basket of chips from a table she was cleaning, one where people had already eaten out of, and stopped at the warming drawer. I sat there thinking, "surely she's not going to dump those chips back into the warming drawer - people have had their hands all over them!" Well, I watched her hold the basket of half eaten chips and open the warming drawer. She must have felt my eyes burning a hole through her because she looked at me and sort of stepped around so more of her back was toward me. I continued to watch her, she made eye contact with me again, and this time closed the drawer and walked out of sight further into the kitchen. I have no clue what happened to that particular basket of chips. Then, several minutes later I watched her bus another table, removing another basket of partially consumed chips. She went to the top of the can that apparently stores the chips and I watched her pick out the unappealing chips from the basket, add more chips from the drawer to this basket and turn around and walk back out, serving this basket of chips to the customers who had just entered the restaurant. Since I had already finished my meal, I paid and left, vowing never to return!
