Do NOT stay at Smoky Shadows Motel!!!! The first room was so disgusting with garbage on the floor, black bottom of the tub, pee & feces in the toilet....I complained and was moved to the "tower" with a jacuzzi and king beds.....looked great at first glance...once got settled I noticed the dead bugs in the windows, the MOLD in the bathroom shower, the leaking toilet, leaking sink and the fan in the bathroom was so covered in dust n dirt that it barely worked.....the only good thing was the river was behind the hotel and we went tubing a lot....spent as little time as possible in the room. Not worth the money!!!!!

I had stayed at this place 6 years ago when the new part was built on and it was sooooo nice. When I went back this year, it had not been updated! There was pee in the floor around the potty. There was no towels. The room smelled terrible and made my mom gasp 4 air due to pet allergies. When we tried to check out early, they said they would not refund our money. Luckily the credit card company worked it out. DO NOT STAY AT SMOKY SHADOWS!!!!!

i have tried calling and calling to make reservations. no one answers. when i get there. the receptionist was very rude and lazy. The room smelled funny. And the cleaning service was okay while we stayed. would not recommend for the price they charge.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. It almost ruined my family vacation. The room was dirty and the towels were dirty. We tried to get our money back after being in the place for only 10 minutes. They stated we could not have our money back and it is not their responsibility to keep the motel clean. The website for the place does not even come close to what it is. We had a water pipe above our bed that constantly made noises anytime someone in the hotel turned the water on. It kept our baby up all night. This is the worst place I ever stayed.
