I had a bad experience with the hair washer lady she is too heavy handed. I asked her to lighten up I can't take all that nail and rubbing my tempo so hard it gave me a headache. Her response was my hair is dirty. Then she was talking in Spanish about me to another girl in the shop. They claim I put something in my hair that was hard to come out. I only had heat protector in my hair bc I took my braids out. The stylist that did my hair said my hair wasn't clean enough so she asked me if she could wash my hair over. When she was about to wash my hair over another dominican lady intervened and told the lady it was fine. The next day my hair looked like I had it in for 2 weeks. I called the shop and the lady that did my hair told me I could come back. I went back the next day she was off
I'm going to try one more time I paid 65$ to get my hair done for it to just be in a bun for the holiday weekend . I was very disappointed with my hair. The stylist was very nice that waited on me and the owner but I still wasted a lot of time and money.

sad sorry and disappointed

This is the absolute worst Dominican salon EVER. WHEN I walked in and saw the ladies that were the stylists my first instinct was to leave but I stayed because I'm looking for a closer Dominican salon (i love the one in laurel) but i live in Baltimore city. Everything about the experience gets a zero. while i sat under the dryer and watched them do other ladies hair I wanted to cry. No bounce just stiff burned hair walked out of there.all the staff and clients should go treat themselves to a real Dominican salon experience in Laurel MD. Run from Julia!!

Don't take the all mighty American dollar and talk about us to our face!

I finally believe in "the pen is mightier than the sword", This salon stinks on so many levels. The owner and her helper speak in Spanish so they think that they have the freedom to talk about the customers in Spanish. They assumed because I was African-American I did not understand. Unfortunately, for them I studied four years of Spanish in high school. All I am going to say is they spend more time talking about people than doing hair. Please spend your money elsewhere especially if you are not of Hispanic decent. Please send a statement to business owners that is never OK to insult your customers American or otherwise.
