After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Pikeville College (now the University of Pikeville) School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Parker continued his training at The Tampa Bay Heart Institute at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.He then completed his family medicine residency at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia. Shortly after completing his medical training, Dr. Parker opened Meta Medical Center.The family medicine practice manages general health and well-being, promoting prevention through wellness exams. Dr. Parker also specializes in diagnosing and treating common chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.Seeing a need to help those caught up in the opioid crisis, Dr. Parker provides a medication-assisted treatment program that includes Suboxone treatment.
