In healthy cats less then 0.1% of deaths occur from spay/neuter surgeries; the majority of these loses being due to incompetent medical personnel. We have lost 2 cats within the last year due to this clinic and supposed 'freak accidents.' The real nail in the coffin was when they informed us of our loss today, my mother rightly got a little hysterical over the phone. Instead of waiting on the phone to explain the situation better they simply hung up the phone. We've had multiple other negative situations with this clinic and this is our last straw.

I hope this review can help warn people of the dangers of bringing your animals to this vet. My family and I have have now suffered through two losses because of this clinics incompetence and we just hope to warn others before they too lose one of there animals.

Terrific customer service! This was an after hours emergency visit. I tried 3 clinics in the area and only got voice mail. When I called Pine City Animal Hospital, I was able to speak with them immediately and Dr. Laura re-opened the clinic for us. Dr. Laura is amazing. Her calm demeanor put my dog at ease right away. She is talented and efficient which made the whole process much less stressful for my pet and me.All this AND the actual bill came in at less than the estimated amount - I don't think that's ever happened to me before.If we lived closer, this would be my new veterinary office :)Thanks again for taking such great care of Rebel!!

I've always had good luck with them. The techs are patient and helpful and explain the charges, Dr. Gene explains in detail what he thinks is wrong with the animal and why, they don't push you into wildly expensive treatments for your pets. They're pretty realistic about it being a rural community not populated by lots of rich people but people who still want to do right by their pets.Melanie

Dr. Laura seems to be a sleep most of the time. The staff seems to careless about your animal. They treat you like you are wasting their time. I would not recommend this place to anybody even if your pet was on its death bed.
