Pine Valley Inn

I was surprised to find such nice accommodations in a little community like PV. My room had multi-channel cable TV (much better than Motel 6!), a mini-refigerator and microwave, and good shower facilities. I have been at this location on two occasions; during the Oct. 2007 fires in SoCal, and again this past Oct. 2008 on a medical-related trip. It has the proximity of a small local market and diner, so you won't starve to death. It's location is about 40 yards north of Old Hiway 80 and 1/2 mile from Freeway 8, so highway noise is not a problem. I may stay there again this Winter if it becomes a medical-necessity to have "dry" or low-humidity air.
