In 1962, Alain Cerf, president and founder of Polypack, developed the first automatic dual roll shrink-wrap machine to use polyethylene film. Polypack has evolved from building only a few select models of shrink wrappers to designing and building a complete line of quality packaging equipment. Cerf continues to guide Polypack; his standards in engineering help to further build the company s reputation for innovation in packaging equipment. Every Polypack machine is designed to be fully modular in design. By piecing together the right combination of components, it is able to create a machine tailored to a particular application.
