Founded in 1973, the Contractors Association of Northern Arizona, commonly known as CANA, is a nonprofit trade organization. The association is responsible for increasing public awareness regarding the importance of using a licensed contractor. It offers safety programs for workers, employers, and residential and commercial building owners. The Contractors Association of Northern Arizona also provides a scholarship fund for children who are interested in pursuing construction profession. The association is a member of the Show Low Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce. The Contractors Association of Northern Arizona additionally educates people regarding the responsibilities of licensed contractors.
