Dis-Tran Steel Fabrication designs and manufactures high-voltage substation structures, transmission towers and communication and specialty steel structures. Its products include wide flange, square tubular, tapered tubular, lattice or pipe with galvanized, painted, weathering steel and aluminum structure capabilities. Its structural analysis and design software produces towers and substation structures that meet applicable industry standards, including AISC, ASCE, NESC, NEMA, EIA/TIA-22, as well as specific customer requirements. It has completed more than 4000 projects since its founding in 1956.The company is headquartered in Pineville, La., and is a subsidiary of Crest Operations, a holding company that serves the electric utility, electrical contractor and forestry industries.
