I hired Max Meadows in 2000 to convert a closet in my historic home(built in 1900) into a bathroom. He extended the length of the closet space 4 ft into the attic, installed plumbing, electrical, built the walls, and even converted an antique dresser I had into a pullman/sink! Max understands old houses and the challenges presented by out-of-square walls and uneven floors. He just somehow -magically- makes all these things - even! And then finishes everything to perfection. The combination of experience AND intelligence, backed up by integrity and the empathy to understand exactly what the home owner wants go a long, long way toward giving a home owner confidence. I've recommended Max again and agan, based on my own experience, and the particular difficulty of my project, which he mastered with flying colors! Max has since completely gutted and remodelled my kitchen, and done other room additions, as well as "historically correct" restoration of the other rooms in my home. I would not trust my historical beauty - my home- to anyone else but Max Meadows. He's a magician.
