Provided by YP.comI first went to Visionworks on the other side of the mall, spent a good 45 minutes in the store trying on regular frames and sunglasses and all though the store had a lot of associates, not one asked me if they could help. I decided to try LensCrafters & very glad I did. As soon as I walked in I was nicely greeted, without pressure. In fact every associate in the store were so polite. In definitely made me feel welcomed & that my business was important. Their selection of glasses were far superior to that of their competitor too. The first pair of sunglasses I picked up I loved. I was also surprised I could get both pairs in an hour 1/2. I did have to go back to change the lens of the sunglasses, as they were too light & had no issues in getting them exchanged at no additional cost - thank you Stephen for your help! I highly recommend this store, price might be higher than Visionworks but glasses are usually something you get your monies worth, so don't go cheap. The service & product make up for the additional cost.

Provided by YP.comI was quoted a price for a new pair of glasses and lenses that were in the 50% area. Came back the next day excited to buy the glasses and was told the glasses were not on sale for 50% and that the quote someone gave me the day before was wrong. The new quote was DOUBLE what I was quoted the day before! Not only was I disappointed about the price, but the sale associate was rude and didn't care about what had happened. I will never shop at Lens Crafters ever again. What a horrible experience! I also came in many times before and the employees never helped me. They were just sitting down doing nothing. I honestly don't know how they are able to stay in business if they don't help customers or at least ask.

Provided by YP.comGot a pair of glasses in January that we had to wait a week to get because of the "anti-glare" lense that we thought they had as the 1 hour deal. Told the salesperson main purpose of the glasses was for driving at night (i.e. would be stored in car to be used for that purpose). May and hot weather came and the right lense developed a crack all the way through the lense. Went back to the store, since we thought it wasn't our fault. Waited 45 minutes just to be seen (my name was overlooked and the guy called the next name because he couldn't pronounce my name). When I finally get there, he says that it was our fault we left it in the car and both lenses would have to be replaced for an additional $170. Tried to explain to him that we've kept glasses in cars all the time and never had one to crack like that...he just repeated that it was our fault and we would have to pay the full price to get new lenses since their glasses only come with 3 month warranties and you would have had to buy the additional year of warranty for the crack to have been covered. so that was a waste of 1.5 hours of my life. This was our first and last time to use them (we used them only because they were in our vision plan network). NEVER USE LENSCRAFTERS IF U WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WARRANTY. Everyone else generally gives 1 year warranties and stand behind their products and do not place blame on their customers.

Provided by YP.comRecently I purchased 2 pairs of glasses from this store. I thought it was covered through my insurance and found out after I had the glasses made and were already wearing them, that they weren't. Needless to say, I had to return them. Guarantee's these days are usually followed by the typically small print, but not at Lenscrafters. They refunded all my money with no hassles. The sales people were even saying how sorry they were that I had gone through everything and then found out that insurance didn't cover it. Everytime I went in, whether it was looking at glasses or to return them the sales people were friendly, helpful and courteous. It seems these days that customer service is the last thing on company's minds. It's the old mighty dollar. I can honestly say that I do not believe that to be the case at Lenscrafters, at least for this Lenscrafters!
