I can only sum it up by saying what excellent service.. from the moment he came in the house and met my dog ginger and the parrot hamlet. I new he was a good person and very personable. I showed him where the unit was located and went on about his business. When it came time he explained in great detail what he was doing what needed attention and what i might consider replacing. Travis thanks for the great service, you did your company proud !!!

Provided by YP.comIntegrity of the technician. I had a potential warranty issue but it was not cut and dry as to whether it was covered or not. The technician, Eric, studied the purchase proposal form 2 years ago and pointed out in the “fine print” wording which showed the issue was indeed under warranty therefore to my advantage. I plan to point out this honesty to people I come in contact with regarding heat pumps and recommend One Hour Air.

Provided by YP.comHaving worked as a Lighting Designer (with an engineering background) and collaborating with contractors and supervising technicians on a daily basis, I tend to ask a LOT of questions and am no easily impressed. Upon meeting your tech Jim, I was amazed to come across someone of this caliber ‘working in the field’. In other professions he would hold a position equivalent to a Senior Design Engineer. Obviously he has years of practical ‘hands on experience’ to draw form. This is augmented by a wealth of technical knowledge and common sense in regards to problem solving. Additionally he has very effective communication skills which allow him to clearly explain technical issues on terms that are completely understandable to the client, whether that person is technically sophisticated or not. In combination, all of these attributes result in someone representing your organization that is well schooled in technical details as well as extremely proficient at what he does. Your customers have a feeling that Jim is doing everything possible to remedy the situation, while at all times making a priority of placing their best interests at the forefront. As per the requirements of his job he is a brilliant technician while also simultaneously acting as a most effective customer service representative for your company. I cannot offer higher praise for anyone within the technical service industry.

Earlier this year we purchased a tankless water heater and Harmony filtration system from you and subsequently became members of the 'Ben Society'.
From our initial encounter with your field technician (which was, at the time Eric) it was immediately apparent that you have some extraordinarily talented people working in the field. This remained true for all the individuals that we have since encountered - in particular Robert who performed our annual inspections for the past several years, before leaving your employ. We just had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installed (yes it's been an expensive year) which subsequently had an issue. The Freon pressure was causing a loud noise each time the input-output pipes restabilized themselves. Attempting to rectify this, we got reacquainted with Eric who walked in the door expecting to merely inspect the installation. Little did he know that he'd be back several times and spend many hours troubleshooting this problem. His expertise, vast practical experience and the ability to explain things with clarity make him an extraordinary asset to your organization.

Provided by YPmobileThese guys, well really about all the ac companies will send out someone to diagnose and then then, no matter what the issue is, will try to sell you a new unit. I found an independent guy to come fix it and spent under $1000 instead of the $6000 one hour tried to get me to spend. Not only are they crooked that way but they are overpriced! Don't do it!

Provided by YP.comThe company is difficult to do business with. They misdiagnosed a problem with our HVAC system first, then repaired what did not need to be repaired. They were willing to give me a refund, but only if I bought new HVAC system from them. I have also been attempting to cancel their monthly maintenance plan I subscribed to. It has been three months now, but I'm still being charged the monthly fee. I have sent a letter to the owner and email to their headquarters. It has been ignored. I was able to get hold of a lady in the office who was rude to me. I wouldn't recommend this company. There are plenty of others with a better reputation out there.

Provided by YP.comOne Hour Air Conditioning should not be their name. You have to jump through a bunch of hoops and that is if they have the time to come out in an hour. On top of that, you have to pay extra which is not a problem but usually when you want them to come out in that hour, it is an emergency and they don't have no appointment times opened. I called right before lunch time and the guy didn't get out there until close to 4 pm when my furnace broke. It is about 62 and getting down under 40 degrees right now and it was cold in my house. The guy came out and found the problem but said that he didn't stock the part in his truck. He said that he would place the order in on Monday morning and he or the dispatcher would get back to me in the morning to see if they can come back and put my furnace together on Monday evening. It is now 4:30 pm on Monday and still have not had a phone call. I called and they said that they would have to get a hold of the technician and can't tell me anything. So, I guess it is another night with no heat and waiting on supposedly a One Hour Air Conditioning company that is now taking almost two days.

Provided by YP.comThey clearly advertise money back guarantees on their website but neglect to tell you the many and detailed limitations to these guarantees. If something unfortunately goes wrong, they have convenient and lengthy excuses for not refunding your money as advertised.

Provided by YP.comI used this company yesterday when my unit stopped working. This was my first time using them and I am very pleased. Their phone representative was very helpful and they called me 30 minutes before the technician showed up. He explained all choices and was very helpful. If I need any other work done I will request Dennis, he was very professional and experienced.
