Incorporated in 1955, Pineville Fire Department is a combination department that operates under the city of Pineville. Located in Pineville, N.C., it runs more than eight trucks with over 55 members that cover approximately 6.5 square miles. The department provides both fire and EMS/first responder to the residents of the city and surrounding areas. Pineville Fire Department offers services in various situations, such as multiple medical calls, brush fire, and vehicle fire and vehicle accident. The department attends more than 500 fire calls and 1400 EMS, besides conducting classroom education and practical scenarios.
