ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, headquartered in Pittsburgh, is one of the largest producers of steel tubular products in North America. Its tubular engineering design and production is used to manufacture axles, driveshafts and propshafts, suspension structures, engine cradles, crossmembers, side impact protection structures, instrument panels and trailer hitches. The company also manufactures bimetallic wire and bimetallic strip products that are used in cable television, telecommunications, utility, electronics and other industrial and transit applications. The company was formed in 1999 through the merger of Copperweld Corporation and ArcelorMittal. It operates nearly 15 manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
