I was pretty surprised at the couple unfavorable reviews and felt compelled to comment. I have been using this practice for 6 years (I have 3 kids). I agree that it's "no frills". The waiting room is just a room with a few books. But it is a small practice; I am sure they can't support the overhead cost of a fancy office. The most important thing to me is the quality of the staff - I wanted to avoid huge practices with a huge staff of doctors and nurses who never really get to know you. I think the front office staff is the best I have seen at any doctors office - very attentive and super-sweet with the kids. They are very responsive to paperwork issues (insurance, school forms, etc). I have seen all the nurses and they have never been anything but competent, kind and reassuring. My kids have seen both Dr. Breit and Dr. Naples, and each of them is excellent in their own way. I love that Dr. Breit is down to earth and practical; he has 5 kids and lots of experience. Dr. Naples has a very gentle manner about her, which is great for the kids; she is patient and gives great advice. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for more personal attention when it comes to pediatric care.

No separate waiting room for sick kids. Toys in waiting room old and dirty. Long wait. Nice front office staff, staff in back, not so great. Kid got cellulitis from poor injection technique. Will not be returning.

I took my two year old there and was yelled at by the nurse to have him stop running around and getting into the cabinets...shouldnt they have child locks?! He is two and knows nothing but exploring everything at that age. She was very rude and VERY unfriendly before that as well. They have one room for well and sick kids. You wait forever in the waiting room. The Drs. are only in there for their alloted time of 5-10 mins. If you have questions about anything you are told its normal or part of growing where as I wanted to another Dr who told me it was my sons allergy! I asked to have him checked by the Bower Hill office and was blown off!! Its not a very kid friendly office if you ask me. I would and have gone eleswhere.

I have been with Bower Hill Pediatrics for quite some time now. I have all boys 6, 5 and the twins being 2. The docs, nurses and office staff are second to none. If you are a mom looking to change pediatric practices or a new mom looking for a doc. Please look no further. I just moved from the south hills to Lawrenceville and will still endure the comute to this wonderful group of people. They truely are my support system. Thank you for everything you do for your patients and families!!!!!!!
