Brady Funeral Home was established in the early 1920's by Stephen Brady. There followed a couple of relocations until he settled in Vandergrift Pa. He passed away in 1939, but left his wife and two sons John and Francis to carry on the profession. World War II changed their plans as both sons entered the U.S. Army to serve and protect our country. After returning home John came to Pittsburgh to supervise the Funeral Home located at 215 West Ohio Street, and became their successor. He managed the home until 1976. His oldest son Stephen joined the family business in 1969 and currently manages the Funeral Home. A number of people throughout the years have had an invaluable impact on the business, and continue to do so to this day.
