Overall I really like this shop. Good selection of guitars, friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff, but I have one problem with them. If you bring a guitar in for maitenance or repairs they can't resist talking down to you for the value or condition of your instrument. They sell $100-300 guitars, but if you bring in something of that quality they will always make a comment about how inferior it is, "hope you didn't pay much for this", that sort of thing. I've seen this at least twice now and have talked to friends who say the same. They had no such sarcasm for my Taylor, but everything else I've brought in, they have. Talking down to the customer is why I don't go to Lawrence Music anymore, and it might be a factor in my future business with Empire as well.
