Home Is Where The Heart Is employs a staff of dedicated caregivers that is thoroughly screened and credentialed, a process that includes a completed application, phone evaluation, personal interview, professional reference verification, extensive background check, skill demonstration, initial and annual competency exams. Home Is Where The Heart Is has years of experience providing home care services for adult and senior patients with a variety of options. Our experience includes: * After Passing Care * Ambulation Assistance * Body Transfers * Funeral Attendance * Funeral Support * Massage Therapy and Rehabilitation * Visits for Our Patients While In the Hospital Personal Care Duties shall consist of providing assistance in carrying out physician's directions regarding care of client (which shall be provided by client to caregiver), preventing client from wandering or otherwise harming themselves. Caregiver will know the whereabouts of clients at all times while on duty and will inform the family of any changes in health or wellbeing. Caregiver will utilize reminder schedule for any and all medications to ensure client takes medications as ordered by physicians. Caregiver will not administer medications. Household Service Duties shall consist of meal preparation, Housecleaning, dishes, laundry, emptying trash and vacuuming. If client has food restrictions, they will be provided in writing to caregiver. Caregiver will utilize non-client owned vehicle to transport client to and from appointments or running errands and, therefore, shall not be held liable for any costs incurred in the event of accident or injury in said vehicle.
