after my wife was upset about the gratuity automatically billed to us, she called the restaurant manager.

He was very receptive to refunding us the amount ( 38 dollars) that was charged. There is a statement on the menu noting at an 18% gratuity would be charged to parties of 6 or more.We did not see that and did not expect it on such a small group.

Soooooooooooooooooo based on how we were treated, we would definitely highly reccomend this restaurant. food was good. we had a fun time.

Ichiban just enjoyed a 50% gratuity from our family. The restaurant includes a 15% tip included in your bill's total.

However; the restaurant hands it's customer a receipt to sign that includes the typical line where you add your gratuity.

So with the 38 tip included in the bill and a 50 tip that my husband added, and a 10 dollar bill handed to our chef, we spent 98 dollars in gratuity for a 213 dollar tab.SO WATCH OUT EVERYONE... THEY RIP YOU OFF HERE...



ps. THAT'S ok.... THEY HAVE JUST LOST A TON OF BUSINESS FROM MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

This resturant is in great comparision to Benihana! It has the same theme with the same type of food. Although, there are more tricks done through-out the meal! Not to mention you recieve a lot more food on your plate! But thats not it, typically when going to Ichiban it is about $5 - $10 cheaper than Benihana. I would recommend this to anyone who graves the taste of Benihana, but just can not afford it all the time. Hope you enjoy this resturant as much as I have!
