lots of duquesne univ guys get haricuts here as the shop is near the campus. i was kind of shaggy looking when went in - i had a wait of about 5 min. as 2 barbers were cutting and both had guys in their chairs. both guys ahead of me got a real decent haircuts, and then i got in joe, the owners, barber chair. he listened to how i wanted it cut, then wet hair down with a water spray and started barbering me up - cutting and combing for the next 15 min. so it looked real decent. he then used warm shaving cream on the neck and shaved it up real clean looking with a razor, used some good-smelling after shave, and trimmed the haircut up a little more. to get it groomed up, he sprayed some kind of hair-spray on a comb, worked it into my hair by combing it several times, and then repeated this about 5 times. this gave my hair a real neat look, with a clean part , and helped it stay in place really good, hairspray left it easily controlled without being stiff or sticky. it really looked neat when i got out of the barber chair. the haircut has looked decent and been easy to control since the cut. there is parking across the street and the haircut was only $12 - what i consider a good deal these days. the haircut was girl-friend approved on my date later that day! i would recommend this barbershop to others, and i'll be going back to get a good groom-up again from joe.

A Pittsburgh icon for over 80 years! Best hair cuts in the city of pittsburgh. The owner Kevin, will go way out of his way to make sure you are very well taken care of! A nice place in general, with great cuts, and tight fades!!!

I had the worst expeience in my life @ a barber shop.The owners language was intollerable,he talked about his pryer customer terribly.His employee cut my friends hair & left big bald patches in his head for weeks. the owner cut my hair & i recieved bumps in the back of my head so i had to pay a dermitologist hundreds of dollars to tell me it was from my barber being un clean and using dirty equipment in my head. For the price of the hair cut it wasn't worth all the hassel after the fact the hair cut wasn't even worth it. Resectfully T> Ross. By the way he left my hair cut to park vehicals.
