I went to the mt.oliver post office today. I was in line. A customer got in a long line behind me. (First he tried to cut in front of the line) while he was in line he started ranting profanities about how "all" white people are racist and ignorant and computer illiterate. Then directly challenged me and asked how old I was and how his parents cleaned floors for white people before they died, and how I was a racist because I'm white. He went on and on about it. I never said a word to him ,till he stepped forward in a threatening manor at me. I told him that's none of your business. I was called to the counter to be next in line or I'm positive this would have had a bad ending. The clerk was courteous and professional and took care of my package right away. (He could see this problem developing in the line) this is not an isolated incident , every time I go to that post office there are lots of people waiting in line and there is always some kind of problem. Its not the the postal workers fault that have to work there. However, I suspect they are very understaffed. There is always people waiting in line (usually for one clerk) I'll never go there again. I suggest you find another post office to use as well. (Unless you want to be rascally attacked in the line) ps: I wish I could give a zero stat rating. However, you have to leave at least one.
