Provided by YP.comI moved from Los Angeles, California to Washington, Pennsylvania and have been renting a apartment from RPM Pittisburgh for that last month and a half and it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. When I moved into the unit with my three children there were unsafe materials left in the apartment that I had to remove myself, nails, rusted metal and to large doors that still sit in front of my apartment door til this day. The floors and the bathroom were dirty and once I started using the appliances they were broken and unusable. The plumbing is horrible, the toilet doesn’t flush and the bathtub doesn’t drain and they tried to blame these things on me. After a few weeks of living in this apartment I can’t get RPM on the phone anymore, they don’t return my massages or my maintenance requests.
Hello Erick, we're sorry about this. The owner said he'd be taking care of all the cleanup before your move-in. If it is still there please contact Colin and he will reach out to the owner to follow up on that. Colin is available Mon-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and he would be happy to help you out.

Provided by YP.comFantastic team! RPM manages our properties and they do an excellent job of listening to and addressing our needs. They always have a solution ready. They think "outside the box" to deliver services and provide value both for us (owners) and our tenants.
My five stars are the direct result of my experience with Nate, Sarah and Colin. They consistently go beyond the call of duty and are efficient in all what they do. And last but not least: they are friendly and gracious. All in all, thank you RPM Management for your exceptional work!

Provided by YP.comBeen using Real Property Management Pittsburgh for the past month, but living in Pittsburgh for the past 3 years.
They are very friendly, honest, and efficient. I've lived in many different houses and developments and have never encountered any company that pays so much attention to detail as they do. As well as fixing any issue you may have in such a timely manner.
Overall I'm very happy that they are overseeing the property that I am leasing. They know exactly what they are doing.

Provided by YP.comI have a number of properties under management now, but I started with just one. At the time I was working in retail management. It was impossible to say up meetings with perspective tenants and keep them, especially since my rental was over 30 min away. I hired RPM after 3 month of futility and they were able to rent the place out within 2 weeks for $50 more than I was asking. The tenant has been in there for 2 years now and has been fantastic. Conversely I bought a multi unit in the same neighborhood that was fully rented. It's looking like I'm going to have 100% turnover in the first 8 months with tenants placed by the previous owner. The replacement tenants I've gotten so far seem to be a significant improvement and the rent is now up to where it should be. (which is good for me!)
I've been happy with their tenant selection, communication, and their maintenance. So far they've been one of the best decisions I've made in "buy and hold" real estate investing.

Provided by YP.comThe things they do to there employees and tenants is ridiculous. They hire people with out verification of whom they are. They send workers, work orders. And workers are going to the wrong homes. When it comes down to a section 8 punch list, don't count on them. Maybe 12 hours before your inspection needs to be done. Tenant is stressed because it's like a 27 punch out list and they send a worker the 10-11 hours before it HAS to be done. And wanna be cheap and only pay the workers example 200.00 for a 700.00-1000.00$ job. They try to blame things on the tenants and their animals to protect the owners and the company itself. All these other reviews I bet were paid for. If you only new.... This is almost like a monopoly. There just as bad as Mace Properties.
Hello Chelse, I think you may have the wrong company. We don't have any tenants, vendors, employees by that name. We also don't manage Section 8 properties. Hopefully you can figure things out with whoever this was meant for!

Provided by YP.comRPM takes the stress out of property ownership. The staff is skilled at all the details of finding tenants, signing leases and property maintenance. They are responsive and respectful to tenants and owners alike. Above all, they are impeccably honest. They think of ways to save me money, taking extra time to find the right contractor for the job. RPM also takes the time to find really good tenants who respect my property and pay their rent on time. I really appreciate their detailed background checks which are especially thorough. I highly recommend RPM to anyone looking to make their life easier.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I own a few duplexes and some other single family rental properties in Pittsburgh, and we have been using Real Property Management Pittsburgh for the past 2 years. We used another managemet company that didn't deliver on any of their promised services, so when we started using RPM, we were thrilled at how professional and efficient they are with everything we need them for.
They help to make sure we get quality tenants by carefully screening them. We always get paid on time now, and whenever any issues arise—which as a property owner, they always tend to do—they are dealt with quickly and properly.
Their maintenance services and accounting of all property activity on their online portal make sure that my properties are inspected and maintained regularly. We are able to keep a watchful eye on our properties without being there all of the time. Any emergencies with the property are dealt with quickly, and RPM uses vendor discounts, so a plumbing emergency or other issue won't sink our contingency budget for the year.
Their staff is well trained, consistent, and easy to work with. We will definitely continue working with them in the future.
