I had my reception at the South Baldwin SH and it really is a lovely hall, however the staff is horrible. They seemed to be very flexible, which is why I chose them over some other places I looked out. However, come the week of my wedding they went back on everything that they initially told me. They also waited to the last minute to let us know on some extra charges because we did not chose one of their recommended caterers. Just get everything in writing before you sign with them, because by the time you find everything out you are out of time and must come up with a lot more money. Also, I needed a lot of commuication because I was planning everything from out of town, and it is impossible to get someone on the phone, they keep very odd hours.
