I was asked to be Santa for a local DayCare. I shopped online and ordered a Santa Outfit costing $75. The costume came from China. The plush fabric was OK but the fur looked cheap and the quality of the outfit was terrible. The jacket was lined in a cheap material that hung out of the sleeves and the bottom of the jacket. The hat was small, the boot covers were a joke. I decided to look around here. After stopping at 4 or 5 places that wanted outrageous prices for the same suit that I ordered online, I found Spotlight Costumes. I called first. He said prices started at $100 for a suit made of red corduroy. I was a little turned off by the fabric choice but decided to look anyway. He told me this was the last of the outfits made in the US. The quality of the suit was much greater. Although the fabric wasn't plush like the other outfit, the fur was far better and made the whole outfit look like more professional. The hat was more substantial, and the boot covers were something that could be worn and look good. I sent back the other outfit that I purchased online, at a considerable expense. In the end, I am so pleased that I found Spotlight, I looked great and Santa was a big hit.
