Terrible reviews are provided for a reason....service is not only terrible, but expensive. I have made three calls during business hours to request service, and no calls have been returned. I did learn that a service call costs $189 which includes the first 1/2 hour of labor. The service business is a separate "arm" of The Fireplace Store, so calling the Fireplace Store is fruitless.

I had the same experience with these people. Salespeople will say anything to get the sale, then wash their hands. Service people will talk to you but will tell you over and over that they're not responsible.



No follow through. Unless you know how to install a fireplace on your own--and you don't--avoid this place.
