My daughter and I decided to try this place today and it was a horrible experience. It was a total waste of $50.00. My feet "soaked" in tepid water for about 5 minutes they barely scraped the dead skin off of our feet and my 5 year old grandson could have painted my toes better.

Everything they used was watered down, from the cuticle softener to the lotion and the polish.

I can understand that new salon equipment is expensive so that I could overlook. What I couldn't overlook was how dirty the place was.

DON'T waste your money here.

Unfriendly Service

My girlfriend and I went out for a girls day and decided to get our nails done at Top Nails. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner and her grumpy husband. I wanted a manicure with a gel polish and my girlfriend wanted a full set. The woman proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get a manicure with a gel polish, that I would have to get a dry manicure with a gel polish. So I told her I would just get a regular manicure with a regular polish. The older man sat me down at one of the stations and told me to soak my fingers in those nail polish remover containers that have the sponge in it. I thought that was odd but I am not a nail tech. After soaking my nails for five or so minutes he tried to scrape my gel polish off and couldn't. So he told his wife, the older woman to look at them. She got frustrated and told me that my nail polish wasn't gel and it was cheap shellac polish. Then she proceeded to tell another customer and my friend that my nail polish was cheap. Then her husband just walked away and never came back. Leaving the woman to do both my friends nails and mine. It took a long time and she hardly cut my cuticles, not even a hand massage and I could have done a better paint job. She told me she would use shellac clear topcoat on my nails. She charged me $18 for my "manicure", I gave her $20 expecting change and she didn't even give me back my change. And with her "top notch" shellac clear coat my nails chipped two days later. With my "cheap" shellac my nails didn't chip for two and a half weeks. So I would rather go to my regular nail salon and get my cheap polish. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon to anyone. I have no idea how this place is still open. They are rude, unprofessional, unsanitary and just unethical. I will never go back there again.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL SALON....Bar none I have been a client of Theresa's for over 14 years. I used to work in the area and was referred by a coworker and I have never stopped going there. Even though my job moved out of the area and I am at least 45 to 50 minutes away on a good day I will continue to be her friend and her client. She is extremely knowledgable and very friendly and willing to so whatever the client wants. It is a very friendly atmosphere and I would recommend her to all my colleagues and friends. She is absolutely the BEST!!n /Also my nails always look amazing. She does a great job.

Best in Pittsburgh

I have been going to Top Nails for over three years and I absolutely love Teresa! The salon is always clean, she is very friendly and she does an amazing job. I live 20 minutes away and have a lot of salons closer to me but I refuse to go to anyone else. We also have great conversations while she beautifies my nails! She's awesome and I refer everyone to her.

Pretty good!

I was somewhat hesitant to go here due to the other reviews, but a girl I work with recommended it. I went with a friend and the most adorable elder couple did our pedicures. I had Teresa and she did a really good job and was really a sweet lady. My male friend had her husband who didn't really talk but he also did a good job. And she gave us free pens when we left, haha. I would definitely go back

Not worth $$$ - dirty and unfriendly

I visited this salon and agree 100% with the review on the dirty pedicure chairs, bugs in the lights, urine smell and unfriendly service. The old man looked disgusted that he had to give me a pedi, didn't bother to say a wordto me just grunted when I needed to move my foot. The barely 15 minute pedi wasn't worth $5 let alone $25. I feel like I could have done a better job myself. And there was no foot massage at all and he barely buffed my feet. Total waste. Do not come here. Not even if you are given a gift certificate.

I made an appointment with Top...

I made an appointment with Top Nails based on the review from above. I was shocked when I walked into the salon, the smell of urine was overwhelming. I was approached by an elderly gentleman who stuck out his hand. At the time I thought he wanted to shake my hand, but I was wrong, he grunted wanting the nail polish I'd picked out. As I stepped into the pedicure tub, I noticed the first step was quite dirty and the black trays attached to the tub area was full of scum. I am a petite woman and needed the chair to be moved up as far as possible. The woman asked me to stand so that they could "try" to manually move the chair forward. As I was soaking me feet for about 1 minute, he grabbed my ankle and started to trim my nails. The man never asked me if I wanted my toenails trimmed, he just assumed I did. When I tried to tell him no, I woman came over to tell him no I didn't want them trimmed. I was feeling uneasy at this time and looked up to see dead insects in the panels of the lights. The supports on the chairs were cover in dust. The over all quality of the pedicure was poor. For a 15 minute pedicure the cost was 25 dollars. The health department should take a visit and close them down. Giving "Top Nails" one star is a gift.

of the pedicure was poor

Get Great Service for an Incredible Price

I moved to Cranberry from out of state, and I stumbled upon Top Nails by accident one day. They have the standard Pedicure tubs, but their manicures are amazing. The gentleman who does my nails takes his time, gives you free paraffin wax treatment, and always gives me great free stuff. I make it a point to get my nails done on McKnight road even though I have to travel a little distance. Their mani/pedi package is $36. I think it's a WONDERFUL value.
