Most people renting a car are under some sort of stress whether it is a tight schedule, rental due to a car accident or just in a hurry to get the car and go. I think we are all guilty of neglecting to appreciate the people who work these jobs and who unfortunately have to bear the brunt of our hurry, impatience, worries and recent accidents and our stress inevitably spills out onto them. In my case, I received a superb almost new vehicle, a newer model of my own vehicle and also received rapid and efficient service from the staff. These hardworking people deserve much better treatment by the public. I thanked them profusely as they had done a great job in a stressful job.

Missed My Plane because of Enterprise Ignorance

Because Pittsfield Enterprise could not tell me where their BDL office was located, I missed my flight. Hint: Follow the signs for rental cars. The Enterprise office is just beyond the other ("in airport") rental car lots. Go STRAIGHT after the Hertz lot.
