I brought my car in to be inspected. Was told that it had failed due to a problem with the lower ball joints and damage to one of my tires. I was given a $1400 bill. (5 days before Christmas) When I refused to have the work done without getting a second opinion they told me that I was being rude and they attempted to scare me by telling me that I would get a ticket if I did not fix the problem today. I was told that they were "Sorry that I brought them my business" and as I left they sarcastically wished me a "Merry Christmas"



I took the car to my mechanic who found some "give' in the ball joint but not enough to fail inspection. He was also amazed at the amount they were planning to charge me for the work.
