I cannot speak for the two 1 star reviews but my experience was and is quite different. First I purchased a used utility trailer from them that was in excellent condition (except paint) I had priced one from a private seller for $1500.00 but the one I bought from PLT was better because it has electric brakes. They charged $900.00 which was substantially less than all other ones I had priced. Next I bought a new leaf blower. I started looking at Husquvara but Mark a salesman suggested I consider Stihl instead. The one I wanted was priced at $600 but Mark provided some manufacturer incentives and I walked out for just over $500.00 including tax. When I checked reviews on line Stihl leaf blowers got much better reviews than Husquvarna. Finally, just recently I decided to buy a tractor and went over to speak with Mark. I discovered he works a 100+ acre farm and not only sells equipment but uses it every day. The fact that a salesman actually uses the same equipment he sells and is willing to share his experience (good and bad) with a buyer is invaluable. Mark took the time to review every aspect of the tractor, the various attachments and how they work. In all he spent about 3 hours with me before I decided to buy the tractor. Another pleasant surprise was the incentives and the 0 down and 0% financing I was able to get. I think possibly the poor reviews are due to a combination of the attitude of the customer and the fact that this is a very busy place. It always pays to confirm and double check any transaction no matter where you buy. I do this no matter who I purchase from especially if it's for delivery or a repair. In the case of repairs I always ask for the old parts to be boxed and given to me. I have not had a repair done by PLT but my experience has been fantastic on all levels to date. The fact that they are so busy would seem to indicate that they are doing something right.

The customer brought his machine to us in pieces and stated the following problems that he would like us to address-"DRIVE AXLE BEARING GONE,CHAINCASE COVER BRACKET BROKEN,WANTS REAR SHOCKS REPLACED,HAS BEEN SITTING FOR TWO YEARS GET ESTIMATE CALL".



We investigated the problems stated by the customer and noted the following problems while repairing the unit-"NO EXHAUST SPRINGS,SPEEDOMETER CABLE BROKEN,NO FUEL,ENGINE LOADED WITH OIL,FRONT AND REAR CHAINCASE COVER CRACKED,CHAIN CRUSHED"



We replaced both rear shocks, exhaust springs, inner and outer dropcase covers, track drive assembly and assorted parts required to complete repairs.



At NO TIME, did the customer claim there was any issue with the electric start and during the repairs, the electric start worked flawlessly.



This customer was unhappy from the moment he dropped off the unit and was verbally abusive on the phone when the service manager called to inform the customer that the repair was completed.



We here, at PLT, pride ourselves on customer service and the quality of both the product we sell and the services we offer. This customer was not going to be happy with anything we did to help him get his unit repaired at the lowest possible cost and therefore we have decided NOT to conduct any business with this customer in the future.
