Was really disappointed! Waiting for an authentic Mexican restaurant to finally open in Pittsfield for so long only to be served something that could made from the ingredients in the Ortega aisle at the supermarket. Really!! Service was good but food was tasteless and Taco Bell on their worst day even beats this stuff.

Tito's is a new Mexican restaurant in Pittsfield. We went to lunch on a wintry, icy day and there were more waitresses than patrons (we got really good service). The chips and salsa (brought as soon as we were seated) were great: thin, crisp and warm with flavorful spicy sauce. We both got a standard margarita and it was also very good. Both of us ordered one of the lunch specials, and that's where the disappointment set in -- rice with veggies was good but my two chicken enchiladas were disappointing. The chicken was dry, pulled chicken breasts with no seasoning or flavor, and minimal sauce (and no cheese) topping the enchilada. My friend had a beef enchilada and taco and again, dry and tasteless. Tito's had an extensive menu and we only tried the two lunch specials, but we probably won't return unless it is for chips and drinks.

Food quality was poor, food was dry and no flavor. Drinks were terrible more juice than anything else would never return. For a new restaurant they should really worry about peoples first visit if they want people to come back.
