Provided by YP.comThis theater is a Pittsfield historical monument in many ways. It is run by the most happy, warm, and kind people. I've been going there since I was 3 and have never been disappointed. They have a good concessions section with affordable options. They are a single room theater and show one movie a week for $5 a person, except for $1 Mondays! The seats are worn and the building is old, they have been fundraising for years to upgrade, however the atmosphere is worth the old seats. A classic stage where school kids will sometimes perform is the focal point along with an old time projector. In the lobby is an original ticket booth, newspaper clippings from the theaters past, and all original designs. Parking is close to the building and is free. There is a handicap accessible bathroom right in the screening room and other bathrooms downstairs. A town favorite!
