As you enter the 352 foot drift of this hard rock mine, you will feel the cool air brush against your face. Activity Suggestions: Bring a picnic lunch. Take a relaxing hike suitable for all ages along our dog-friendly trails. We did a team event there with 40 people and were split into 2 groups and we went to different mines and had an excellent time with out tour guide in his hat and overalls. He made it a fun and educating experience for us all. I wish all the schools could take a field trip there. We panned for gold and saw all the different machines used.
