I did research on this salon, ...

I did research on this salon, prior to calling, most all was very good. so i called, and spoke with the owner, Bret. I explained to him my issues, (color damage) I needed color and healthy hair care. I met with Rychelle. I explained my concerns, wanted to clean up my hair, she made a different cut recommendation, I trusted her, she was the professional. I wish I could share a photo. I am so embarrassed by my hair. It looks like a 5 year old found the scissors...

My hair is dark brown underneath, blonde on top...and it was long. I left the salon that day not realizing how bad it was.

After I returned for a Keratin treatment and to try and clean it up, it only got worse. Bret intervened, Rychelle walked off. I truly don't know what happened, why she cut what she did.

Bret then had his other hair stylist try and make it better. She really tried, put in a few foils to try and blend the colors where Rychelle cut chunks out of my hair. Bret also did not charge me for any services, prior to the foils, but I did pay for that. .I would have paid anything not to go through this.

I'm 49, and my hair WAS below my shoulders, and it will finish to almost a shaggy pixie, if I'm lucky...and nothing about it is pretty anymore...I used to get compliments all the time. I'll be in a baseball cap for the foreseeable future...not even enough for a pony tale. I learned my lesson, the hard way.

Be careful if you get your hair done there, the owner seems to be good but there is only one other chair and don't have your hair done by Whitney, it's not that the cut was so bad but it took 3 1/2 hours to color and cut my hair, she doesn't listen so she burned my hair when I told her NOT to use a flat iron. I wouldn't go back there again and there are enought salons in Placerville that it's not necessary to pay for BAD service, especially when they charge above the going rate, it was $125.00 and I walked out without my hair styled and burned

I am very sorry for your unfortunate experience. Whitney is no longer employed at Studio B and I ,as owner take responsibility for your displeasure.I would encourage you to give us another try if you are looking for a boutique salon that features organic products and is customer service oriented.
