If you dont know the owner or an employee who works here dont waste your time. You wont be served right away and the bartenders dont know a thing about serving drinks fast. If your in the mood to sit and listen to the employees complian about thier lives well this is the place for you too! My first time there the bartender told me all about her personal life and how she needs more hours. Great environment! I gave it another try and was charged 2 different prices for the same drink from the same cocktail waitress. When I asked how much the drinks were I got another different price...... after my food came I just started to enjoy my appetizer and out comes the dinner to sit and get cold. When I asked why they gave me both at about the same time she explained they are fast with food for turnovers. So if your drinking you'll go thirsty, eating, your food will all come at once. Also, the menu has "NEW" food items that are crossed out and I was told they didn't have current menus to show exactly what we can order, so 1/2 the menu isnt available. After waiting for 45 min for my check, without a drink cuz apperently "IM DONE NOW THAT MY FOOD IS BOXED" I left, NEVER TO RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep your bad service, food, and drinks. Anyone who says otherwise is a friend or apparently hasnt REALLY been there.

Provided by YP.comI had to write a review after "Mr. Grumpy Pants" last comment... McBrides is a great little place to hang out. The menu has a great selection and I haven't gotten a bad thing yet. Don't go in there expecting a 5 star gourmet meal because it IS a bar and grill but for sandwiches, soups, salads and entrees, you can't beat the quality or the price. They do a lot of fun events also- DJs, fight nights, etc. I do think that they recently had an ownership change, so maybe Mr. Grumpy Pants should give them another try.

Provided by YP.comWOW...I have never had such a poor dining experience in my life!!
Let's start, Can I please get a menu BEFORE you ask me what I would like.
That's right as I was sitting down the waitress (as I later found out was not trained at all) asked if we would like an appetizer. So after a few minutes we settled on the McNachos sans jalapeno because a 6 year old and a 2 year old will not eat jalapenos. The entrees were as follows 2 prime rib 1 w/soup (clam chowder) and 1 w/salad, 1 childrens bowtie pasta w/marinara,1 childrens chicken fries. The soup and salad come before our appetizer hmmmm thanks? WHO PUTS CHEDDAR CHEESE ON CLAM CHOWDER?!! K A McBrides does. 30 sec. into our soup and salad our appetizer arrives. Approx. 3 minutes later here come the entrees. At this point there is no more room on the table so we ask to see the manager who in his obvious 10 min. of experience in the food service industry sees no problem what so ever and is actually quite cocky in his response of the ticket was printed 10 minutes ago, Which is obviously more than enough time to eat the appetizer with shockingly, jalapenos on it. This was an obvious omission in the order by our overly qualified waitstaff. My daughters bowtie pasta with 1 teaspoon of sauce was cold. And my other daughters chicken fries tasted a lot like fish sticks. (Change your oil much?) So on to the prime rib. Where is my creamy horseradish? Yes I'll wait 10 minutes for you to bring regular horseradish and then tell me "We don't serve creamy horseradish". But still charge $2.25 for the regular horseradish that will not be eaten. At this point we are seriously thinking we are on candid camera. But here is the real kicker....My wife has yet to touch her entree when our waitress asked if we would like..."TO TAKE THE REST HOME!!!" Holy cow, sorry our 1/2 hour here is in the way of real customers. Anything special about the food? Nope. It's just like 10,000 other places out there. The atmosphere is loud. (It's an Irish pub so big drinkers come free of charge.) If your looking for a loud obviously unwelcome place to not get the proper order and not get a chance to eat before they want to leave then this is the place to be.
