I was having problems with my wisdom teeth and needed a dentist surgeon. My friend had her wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Peltzer and had an excellent experience with minimal discomfort afterwards. She said he was a specialist at sedation dentistry and has specialty training as an Oral Surgeon, so I called them. My teeth were very impacted so I knew it would not be easy. Dr. Peltzer examined me, spent a lot of time answering my questions and describing how I would remember nothing due to the sedation. Dr. Peltzer did a fantastic job, everything went great and his staff was very helpful and caring as well. They make an excellent team at Dr. Peltzer's office.

I was always conscious of my bad teeth. I didn't know where to go for help. I remembered Dr. Peltzer's office was right on Rt. 10 in Plainville and I decided to call because my neighbor has gone to Dr. Peltzer for years. I found the office to be very friendly, the staff was helpful and pleasant and Dr. Peltzer is very thorough. I feel he really helped me improve the health of my mouth and everything was painless and quite reasonable for such a quality office.

I learned how good Dr. Peltzer is from my Anesthesiologist who helped me in the hospital. I joked that I wished that he could sedate me for my dental visits. He told me to go to Dr. Peltzer in Plainville who he said was excellent. Well....I went to Dr. Peltzer and he was excellent. I had four implants and crowns on the implants and everything was great. Dr. Peltzer is easy to talk to, empathetic and understanding. So glad he's my dentist.

Dr. Peltzer is the Best Dentist in CT. He calmed my fears and helped me with improving my chewing ability and eliminated the cause of my tooth pain. His staff is great, very helpful and friendly and they did everything they could to get me the most out of my insurance each year. Dr. Peltzer is easy to talk to, very, very knowledgeable and a great dentist office to go to.

Dr. Peltzer is a wonderful dentist. Skilled and caring and he has a great group of nurses who take excellent care of you by helping Dr. Peltzer. He did my dentistry and I am so happy with my teeth! Dr. Peltzer at Gentle Dental Care in Plainville, CT is excellent. Sedation dentistry is his huge interest but I was able to have my cosmetic dentistry porcelain veneers just with novocaine. Dr. Peltzer was painless and my smile is now fantastic! Thanks Dr. Peltzer.

Dr. Peltzer is a master at Sedation Dentistry. I had my wisdom teeth removed after years of problems with them. I was expecting the worst and had no problems. While my husband and I traveled down to my daughter's house over the holidays, I developed a severe toothache and called ahead to my daughter to get a dentist who might be willing to help me in my time of need, even though it was a holiday.



To make a long story short, my daughter called Dr. Thomas Peltzer of Gentle Dental Care in Plainville, CT. He had already left the office for the holidays. Dr. Peltzer is a true professional. As a result of his kindness and generosity, my entire family in CT now goes to Dr. Peltzer in Plainville and think he and his professional team are the greatest. I must say I wholeheartedly agree.

For years I just took my teeth for granted. Then I started slowly having bleeding gums and tooth pain. Something was obviously going wrong in my mouth. I asked around and many of my friends recommended Gentle Dental Care in Plainville. Everyone was so nice there and informative. Dr. Peltzer examined me and really took the time to answer my questions and find out what was important to me. His calm, professional manner made me feel relaxed and comfortable (if that's possible in a dentists office!) We talked about what was good in my mouth and what was not so good. Dr. Peltzer gave me a variety of ways of making my mouth more healthy. I was used to the old ways of doing things and was pleasantly surprised when I found out Gentle Dental Care has digital X rays which they told me use way less radiation than the older style X rays. It was pretty cool seeing my teeth on a huge computer monitor. Anyway, the important thing is the personal care I recieived and the chance I had to ask questions and get all the information I wanted and more. Dr. Peltzer and his entire office was so helpful even though they were obviously a very busy office. The appointments were much easier than I expected and even though I had 2 root canals done and 2 caps and a lot of white fillings, I never really felt much of anything. They also fixed my gums without having to send me all over to a bunch of different doctors. I really appreciated that. Heather, one of his hygienists did an incredible job cleaning my teeth and getting my gums to stop bleeding. More important, she showed me how to keep my gums healthy. I have the highest admiration for Dr. Peltzer and his staff of wonderful professionals. My teeth had been neglected for many years. I was simply terrified. Dr.Peltzer and his associates examined me, said they understood how I felt and explained everything before they examined me. They answered all my questions. Non-judgementally. Dr. Tom really made me feel relaxed and accepted for who I am. He was very down to earth and not standoffish like many doctors. There was no judgemental lecture. No put downs or questions about why I had neglected my teeth. Dr. Tom Peltzer was incredible. I was treated as a valuable person which made me feel just fine. My treatment options were explained to me, NOT dictated to me and they really, really listened more than they talked. Multiple payment plans were discussed and they made it real easy for me to arrange everything.



I signed up for IV sedation dentistry. I previously had sedation with pills at another dentist office where you swollow pills to relax you. They would never do that in a medical setting. Dr.Peltzer proved to be a master at IV sedation. I felt nothing and don't even remember a thing during my treatment. My husband had a big joke about it. Funny thing is he made an appointment at Gentle Dental Care and he was impressed to. Need I say more?

Having just completed my dental treatment at Dr. Peltzer's office, I have to say they truly exceeded my expectations. I have always not looked forward to going to the dentist. Gentle Dental Care and Dr. Peltzer changed all that. I finished a major amount of treatment (I had not gone to a dentist in 8 years) and the results are beautiful, the treatment was painless, the cost was most reasonable and Dr. Tom Peltzer and his team of great people were pleasant, helpful and most highly recommended.
