The Recreation Department, operated by the town of Plainville in Connecticut, offers a variety of seasonal and year-round programs. The Recreation Department also organizes field trips, musical concerts, town carnivals and Halloween parades. Incorporated in 1869, Plainville is a small town with more than 17,600 inhabitants. It is known for an extensive manufacturing and business base, as well as an educated pool of experienced workers.
