Very rude greedy people. They are nasty and try to sell cheap products for high price. Promised that keratin treatment and hair straightening will last for 4-6 months and charged around $300 (wasted). Hair become curly and wavy(original) after the first wash! They are rude and always sound angry. Please stay away from these scary place. Though I had an appointment the owner kept leaving me in the middle of my treatment to care other customers. Will never go and will warn all my friends and families to stay away.

Ripped off at Ashima Salon - at spring creek, Plano TX
I booked my appointment on phone. As that was my first appointment at this salon I made sure about all charges and discount and deals for the services.
Next day, as soon as I walked in they wanted to start, but I repeat all services I want and the charges they yeah yeah we remember the total amount no worries.
I get to the counter to pay expecting to be charged $75, but they charged me $190. I was about to faint but they don't keep their words. Please if you go to that salon, take the amount and services from them in return never believe in their words.
I took this as a lesson to learn, but Ashima salon's staff is just seem so unethical

HENNA NIGHTMARE I have naturally blonde hair and I've never had trouble covering ALL my hair with the henna paste. I was given a $30 gift card to Ashima's, and I decided to get my roots done. I asked for a henna. I was told it would cost $40 dollars despite the cost really being $30! ( dying my hair at home costs me less than $5 each time ) I asked if she would henna ALL my hair just to clarify, to which she replied of course. Afterwards she put a shower cap on my head and sent me on my way, but not before I gave her a $5 tip and thanked her.

After waiting 4 hours I rinsed my hair out and conditioned it, and OH GOD was I horrified when I looked into the mirror! Half of my roots were a bright orange, and the other half was my natural hair and hadn't been colored at all!! It was entirely obvious even after I tried combing and styling my hair. I was livid! I paid I want my $40 back. I'm distraught over this and it's been one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had.

WORST services & RUDE customer service EVER!

I went for a brow tint & they used hair dye on my brows & BURNING my skin! 1st eyebrow tinting is NOT hair dye! Once the procedure was done I told them I couldn't see a difference & was upset & they wanted to re-apply the same color dye (which was the wrong color & blame me for it as professionals they should know which color to use in the 1st place!) I refused because I didnt want them to burn my skin again. I also got a facial threading which cut my skin & left horrible rash. The owner is extremely rude & wouldn't even give me a discount after I told them how disappointed I was & how I couldn't even see a difference in my brows at all.

Owner said "No discount you took too long & I have other clients to take care of!" I am a paying customer, should be taken care for however long, they are there to serve me & what I am paying for!

HORRIBLE, SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT & WASTE OF TIME. GO ELSEWHERE WHERE YOUR BUSINESS IS APPRECIATED!

This is the most unprofessiona...

This is the most unprofessional place we've experienced in so many years of living in Dallas. I gifted a 'BuyWithMe' coupon for a facial woth $35 bought for $12.50 for this salon (15-20% tip is additional) to my wife. The owner of this salon is the most unprofessional, greedy woman who didn't have any interest in honoring her own promotional coupon. When my wife first called for an appointment, she asked about what time suitable etc., but the moment she mentioned the coupon, she started giving all sorts of BS excuses for appointment unavailability. Next day I called for an appointment without mentioning the coupon and she readily gave an appointment. What my wife experienced there was even worse. When she showed the coupon to her, she tried persuading my wife for 10 minutes to not use the coupon and tried to sell her more expensive services that the coupon didn't apply to. Later she shamelessly gave her even more BS arguments like you came with coupon at peak hours. The salon was not bust at all at 3:00 pm and my wife had an appointment. When my wife kept on insisting using the coupon, she gave up. Avoid this unprofessional place. They don't know how to honor their own words. What a shame !

I am new to the area and wasnt sure where to go so I decided to give this salon a try...BIG MISTAKE. I made an appt. for a wash and blow dry and when I get there the woman says it will be $50...Are you freaking kidding me??! Since it was Fri. afternoon and I didnt know where else to go I said OK...SECOND MISTAKE. This woman was so rude...after a few insults about my hair she says that she is charging me extra b/c I have thick hair(FYI...if you work in a salon and dont know how to blow dry thick hair then you should find another job!) On top of that, while you are getting your hair done the other creepy, rude looking woman just sit around and stare at you( Hey...your salon is filthy...get a broom and start sweeping up some hair or something!) This is the first time in my life I have ever left a salon w/o tipping. Do yourself a favor and dont go to this salon!

Great service

Ashima's salon is a great place to get your facial, hair styling and threading etc. Staff is very friendly and professional. I went in for facial and had great experience. Ashima (owner) explained all the options to me and suggested what would be best for my skin type. They have separate room where you can relax in dim light, comfortable setting and perfect music and get your facial done by experts. I felt very relaxed and enjoyed the whole experience. There prices are very reasonable.
