I would pass this place up and go elsewhere! We took our daughter to the ER at Childrens Plano since she was running a 103 degree temp with an abcessed tooth on last Sunday night around midnight. The ER triage RN was very disgusted that we were even there in the first place. We were very upset that 5 other families that brought their children in after we were already triaged, were admitted to the ER before my daughter was ever called. Well the call never came for her. I asked my daughter to ask the greeter if she could see the doctor since she needed to throw up and she told her to go sit back down. The sad part of the story is that the other children that were sick were all playing around with the mobile (toys) in the waiting area while my daughter was sick in my wife's arms. After a little over an hour of waiting, we finally gave up waiting and went over to Baylor Plano. She was seen in less than 10 minutes. The RN and support staff at Baylor Plano was very receptive to my daughter's needs and started her on a shot of antibiotics and ibuprofen. She eventually had to have an emergency dental work done the following morning at her dentist which specializes in children. My advice to you parents is to stay away from here and go elsewhere. The staff at this facility is not very understanding. What a shame since they sent ads in my home mailbox that they are now closer to us in the Plano area.
