I recently purchased a 2006 Volvo S40 for my 16 yr old son at a great price from an individual but it needed several repairs and I had no idea how expensive these repairs could be. I live on a very limited income and I called at least 30 service departments that work on luxury cars and phoned the dealerships, only to get exorbitant quotes and very mixed information on repairs. Even the places I took it in to were giving different information on what needed to be done and the prices were all very high. The last call I made was to "Passport Motors Service Department" and I spoke with the kindest man, Arthur Pena in sales and service. I spoke with him about all the mixed information and high priced quotes I was given and he said to bring the car there and leave it with him for a couple of days and he would diagnose the car and get back with me. The very next day he phoned and told me what needed to be done and it was almost half the price of the other places. It turned out that many of the repairs I was told by the other service departments and the dealerships were completely unnecessary and way over priced. Please try them out. They were so nice and had the work done in no time! I don't believe I have ever dealt with a better service department. I highly recommend Passport Motors for repairs!

Provided by YP.comUnorganized, hodge-podge operation! Every time I call I'm either on hold, or tossed about from one person to the other. First time I brought my car in for service, I did not know which way to go (where is the service entrance?) First, I though the name of the shop was European Auto Tech, but when I arrived at the shop's address the big sign read: Passport Motors. Second, no signs to direct me anywhere. I went to the front lobby and found no one in attendance. I went to the left side then the back of the shop, neither seemed the right place. Finally, I found the right entrance, it was on the right hand side. Third, the massive garage was packed with cars, but hardly anyone in sight. Got out of my car, walked around and found couple guys chatting away who acting inconvenienced to have a new customer. Not exactly the greeting I was expecting! When I came back a day later to pick up my car, the experience was pretty much the same. No cashier office/window in sight. I had to go through a back door and one office to find someone to help me.
In amazement, I wondered: Can I really trust these guys to work on my family's two German cars? To boot, the bill was almost the same as the dealer would've charged. Next time to the dealer I go.
