I had gotten new lenses about a month ago for my frame and unfortunately, it gave away on its own last week.

I was given EZ-eye repair contact by my eye doctor so my wife took the frame to be fixed. They did decent job fixing the frame but significantly scratched the lens. It is pretty clear from the scratches that it happened from a tool that grabs the lens while being worked on the frame.

I called the owner Zach day after the frame was fixed and he was very arrogant and was not even willing to consider that the scratches may have happened at his shop. I tried to be explain to him the situation and he was very defensive about the whole thing and in fact told me that he has not heard such complaints in the last few months. This statement made it clear that they have had issues with scratching people's lenses. Anyway, I tried to come with with a solution that is fair for both sides since no one can prove exactly how the scratches occurred. Zach was not willing to do anything and kept defending his position. I tole him that if does not work with me then only solution I have is to go to the BBB. He said "go ahead and file the complaint, but this is the reason I am not part of the BBB".

I just want the future customers to know that be very careful taking your valuables to this company for any repairs as they may be damaged in other areas and the owner is just a jerk!! He gets very defensive. I don't think companies like these should be rewarded by any future business!

These guys can fix frame alright. But can also break the lens.
Complaining to BBB is a joke. BBB just forwards your complaints and responses. No action taken. Finally filed a complaint with CHASE and they refunded the $35.
To top it all, the solder came apart a few days back. Not a good job.
Now the sunglasses are in the same condition before I took it to this shop.
Oh wait. It also has a chipped lens now.

I stopped in at my local Merle Norman store to get my makeup and saw this shop next door to them. I thought maybe they could answer a question for me about where I might be able to find some very dark sunglasses for my eyes since I am having some eye issues. upon entering the store I saw that it was pretty empty no merchandising at all. I still ventured in to speak with th woman sitting behind the counter. I asked her if I could ask her a question. She did not answer but I asked anyways. My question. Would you happen to know of any place that would sell the dark wrap around sunglasses for my eyes and explained why I needed them. Her Reply " We don't sell anything like that". I looked at her and said I realize you don't sell them that was not my question. I asked you if you knew where I could find them. She looked at me dumb founded and I decided to walk out. I did state that she was obivously an idiot because she could not understand my question. I am walking out of the store at this time and at the door with the door opened, when her boyfriends comes out and starts calling me a dumb B and rushes at me telling me to get out of his store. I asked him what did you call me? He proceeded to use every cuss word in the book and threatening me. I am still at the door with the door opened actually and actually outside his shop. I tried to shut the door and he comes at me again telling me that I better not slam his door ( which is on a pressured hinge that will not allow the door to be slammed) which was not my intention. I don't like being called names by anyone much less some shop owner who doesn't deserve to be in buisness if this is the way they treat people.
What happened to friendly customer service and people trying to help thier customers even if they don't have what they are looking for. If she had said " no Maam I am not sure where you can buy those at, or let me find out if anyone else knows they could have had a customer for the future. Yes I probably shouldn't have said she was an idiot and nothing will excuse that, however it should have not incited the treatment that I received from this shop owner.
IF YOU WANT HELP, ANSWERS OR ADVISE of where to purchase something DON'T SHOP HERE.
From what my understanding is they don't do good quality work as well, however I cannot really speak to that. With the treatment that I received I would see why though.

I have to give this shop a star rating just to post this however one is so much better than what they receive.

Very defensive & scratched my lens.
I went to have my frames fixed & not only did he not repair them but he scratched the lens! Now I'll need to get the lens & frames repaired or replaced elsewhere.

The guy that runs this business is crazy! At first I could not figure out what was going on because he acted so strange. I needed one ear piece replaced and I asked him if he had the part. He refused to answer the question and kept saying that they would be ready in 2 hours. When I came back the ear piece was the wrong color. He asked me if I wanted him to take it off and I said no that i would take it as is and use it until I could get the right color piece installed. He took it back from me to look at it and then proceeded to remove the ear piece from my glasses rather than let me pay and use it as a temporary fix. The place I later actually got to fix my glasses had heard of him and told me how he actually tried to pick a fist fight with an old man. This other place says they get people who have been to this crazy man often and they hear all kinds of wild stories. Stay away from this place!! Read his other reviews on here. He is not sane!!

I will simply state this business is to be avoided at ALL costs. The owner is extremely rude, condescending and hateful. My brief encounter with him to discuss eyeglass repair never happened. He locked up, set the alarm and asked me to "Get outside as he was actually closed." He walked straight to his car which was parked in front of the door and left. No explanation given. Hours posted are 10am- 6 pm.

I took my son glasses to this shop to fix but instead broke it more more so the price doesn't worth it.but Walmart eye center fix it 4 free.

I highly recommend that anyone needing new glasses or a repair to come see Zack. I had been to Lenscrafters & Eye Masters in the past year. I can't begin to tell you how many times they had to remake my lenses to get the prescription right. Zack was able to get it right on the first try. He took the time to help me pick out the right frame and was able to just get me new lenses for my existing pair as a back up. Saved me hundred's compared to the other guys. I have nothing bad to say about this business and hope it has much success. I am proud to support a local small business in Plano.

I had stepped on my glasses and totally ruined them. They were all out of whack, but the guy there was able to get them back like new. I wasn't expecting perfection bc of their condition, but he did an awesome job. I asked how much it was and he said they don't charge for adjustments. What?! They are a repair shop so I don't really know what they charge for. Anyway, I highly recommend having your eyeglasses repaired here.
