Healthy Beginnings is a green Montessori school, committed to giving an authentic Montessori education to children from six weeks to six years old. Throughout our school, one often hears the word "friend" spoken among employees, parents and children. It is a term of endearment that we use to identify each other as being a part of a unique community. This communal value becomes apparent to anyone who comes to Healthy Beginnings to either participate in an event or to observe our teachers hard at work, for the effects of children learning and growing ripple beyond the school to the world at large. The strong sense of community that is so important for children in school for extended hours resonates within the whole school. Children work harmoniously developing their academic skills while learning the qualities of good character. We provide all of the proven tools and methods developed by Dr. Montessori perfected for the modern world. With the support and guidance of the caring teachers, children acquire knowledge through exploration and observation, following their own interest at their own pace. The results are children who are engaged and interested in learning and eager to advance. The Montessori approach blended with our philosophy will help your child enhance independence, inspiration and intelligence as they become a "lifelong learner" A Montessori community where teachers are chosen for their love and respect of children and understand the rewards of working with them is immeasurable
