I went to see Dr. Graff for a second opinion after many problems with my first surgery with a different surgeon (an orthopedic) to remove my Morton's Neuroma. Let me back up. When I started having problems like my scar bubbling up, bruising and swelling months after surgery, and what looked like a marble in my foot in the exact place of my surgery scar, I decided to go back into my surgeon and he sucked out the fluid twice. The third time, when it bubbled up with the "marble" again, he basically threw his hands up and said he had never seen that before, doesn't know what it is but he needs to remove it. He did no tests to find out what it was and basically blew me off. I went to Dr. Graff for a second opinion and it was the best choice I made. He took fluid from the "marble" and sent it to pathology, did an ultrasound of my foot and really listened to my concerns, which the other surgeon had not done. I ended up opting for a second surgery to correct the first one and the entire experience was so much better than the first one. Dr. Graff and his entire staff were professional, listened, and treated me with respect. I felt like my well being mattered to them and that is a rare find today. As for the surgery, the difference is huge and the proof is in the pictures so please check them out. The bruised up one is from the other surgeon. The other picture is Dr. Graff. Both were taken two weeks after surgery. My first surgery had unusual swelling and bruising (blown off by surgeon) that I have not experienced with this surgery. After my first surgery I was discouraged and did not have much trust in surgeons. Dr. Graff and his office showed me that there are still places that care, are honest, and care about the patient and doing what is best for the patient. Please see Dr. Graff if you need foot surgery, or ankle surgery. It is difficult to figure out which surgeon to choose so learn from my mistake and go to the doctor that knows what he's doing: Dr. Graff.
