What an outfit...every time I went in there thry tried to sell me things I don't need. They wanted $100.00 bucks in addition to my insurance companies payment to clean my teeth. Needed a crown and the add ons cost more than the crown. These are the kind of people that give the medical prpfession a bad name. Stay away from these folks!

Monarch Dental-Grapevine does not look out in the best interest of patients. I went to get dental work on 8/19/08 they are in the network with Delta Dental. They called Delta to find out what is covered under my insurance plan and advised me to have my xrays done, at the time of my visit. Later, the insurance didn't cover the expense because they only pay for xrays once in 3 years and I had my xrays taken the previous year at Holt Dental of Southlake. If Monarch office staff who called to find out about my benefits had told me this ahead of time I would have never let them take xrays again and brought a copy of my xrays from Holt for the exam at Monarch. Now, Monarch wants me to cover the fee that insurance did not pay and advised me I should have known what is covered under my insurance when they made the call to my insurance company in front of me and wrote down what was covered.

This place is horrible!!! I went there for a root canal, and even when i was sitting in the chair my mother came in and sadi "i don't trust this place i think we should leave". i assured her everything was fine. i was very wrong! i have had 4 root canals in my life and none hurt, this was the single most painful experience of my life. the dentist had no clue. i was screaming and crying so bad they had to administer about 10 shots, none working. i would have rather had it pulled. plus they could care less about my pain and after all this i am too traumatized to go back and get the crown. oh.....and they don't care about you, your pain, your financial situation. SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!!
